Amethyst is the birthstone of February and is the 6th and 17th year anniversary gem. The beautiful purple gem was once as valuable as ruby and emerald, and was said to protect the wearer from drunkenness. Amethyst is the most valued quartz variety, and can be seen set in royal crown jewels!

CONDITION - Excellent handcrafted new condition. The locket can be securely opened and closed with a small screw driver, such as ones intended for eyeglasses.
