A stunning vintage platinum Retro era Mid Century diamond engagement ring with its original matching wedding band! The engagement ring features an estimated 1.02 carat old mine cut diamond secured in a four prong illusion head setting. The shoulders of the engagement ring are each embellished with one round transitional cut accent diamond, followed by two round single cut diamonds (total accent diamonds 6). The matching wedding band has 10 more round single cut diamonds. Gorgeous Mid Century bridal fine jewelry set, circa 1950s! ERA - Circa 1950s - Mid-Century

METAL / MATERIAL - Platinum, engagement ring features 7 diamonds total (approx. 1.22 ctw - center old mine cut is approx. 1.02 CT, G color SI1 clarity) while wedding band contains 10 round single cut diamonds (approx 0.13 ctw), the set has a total diamond weight of approximately 1.35 carats, with quality characteristics of G/H color and VS2-SI2 clarity.

MARKINGS / HISTORY - Engagement ring markings worn to illegible, but metals professionally tested as platinum. Matching band is stamped inside "10%IRID.PLAT"

CONDITION - Very good vintage condition. Diamonds are secure. Rings have been refurbished by our jeweler. Minimal age consistent wear remains. Amazing vintage wedding set, ready to be worn for another lifetime!
