Beautiful antique circa 1910s Edwardian era 10k rosy yellow gold created white sapphire ring! This lovely three-stone ring features three created white sapphires in a row and a polished unadorned shank. A sweet little piece of fine antique jewelry, made by Ostby & Barton!

METAL / MATERIAL - 10k gold, 3 created white sapphires
(Created sapphires are chemically the same as their natural counterparts, but are made in a lab by man. The process for creating colored gemstones was invented in the 1800s.)
MARKINGS / HISTORY - Inside of band is marked "OB 10k" for Ostby & Barton. Ostby (Co-owner of Ostby & Barton) was a first class passenger on the Titanic & was among one of the 1,500 passengers who perished during the tragic iceberg collision. The company was established 1879 in Providence, Rhode Island. At it's time, it was considered one of the leading producers of fine jewelry. The company ceased production in the 1950s. Ostby & Barton jewelry is highly desired by collectors of fine antique jewelry for its beautiful workmanship & historical significance.
CONDITION - Good antique condition. Gold metal has been lightly polished & cleaned. Created white sapphires securely prong set. Amazing antique created white sapphire ring!
