Laura Mae, Founder, GIA Graduate Gemologist

Laura is the visionary founder and co-owner of Maejean Vintage. Laura embarked on her entrepreneurial journey after her urban teaching job was eliminated due to budget cuts. Initially devastated to no longer work with her beloved students, Laura saw it as an opportunity and founded MJV in 2010. She earned her GIA Graduate Gemologist Diploma along side her sister and business partner Amanda. Laura is a proud mom to an energetic 3 year old boy who is already taking an interest in jewelry!

Amanda Jean, Co-Owner, GIA Graduate Gemologist

Amanda, co-owner & GIA Graduate Gemologist, has a deep passion for sourcing historical jewels from gold buyers across the country. With a business degree from Temple University, Amanda manages the operational & strategic planning at MJV. Outside of work Amanda enjoys gardening, cooking plant based meals, and renovating her 1920s home.

Dahlia Jean, Inventory Manager / Lead Listing Author, GIA AJP

Dahlia is our Inventory Manager and Lead Listing Author, bringing a decade of experience to her role. A passionate thrifter and devoted animal advocate, she shares her home with her four beloved cats. Outside of work, she loves spending time outdoors, exploring new cities, trying new foods, and attending concerts with her 12-year-old daughter.

Jess Lynne, Multimedia Manager, GIA AJP

Jess is our Multimedia manager, and the creative mind behind our social media video content! A vintage lover through and through, some of her favorite things to do in her free time are thrifting, antiquing, swing dancing, playing with her cat, and going back in time at the Renaissance Faire.

Heidi Grace, Brand and Community Manager

Heidi is a creative force at MJV, handling social media coordination, content creation, and photography to showcase the store’s stunning collection. As a skilled salesperson and dedicated networker in the Lancaster community, she brings passion and connection to everything she does. When not working, she’s a proud mom of two boys who loves campfires, the outdoors, traveling, and making lasting memories with family and friends.

Becky Lane, Administrative Specialist

Becky is our dedicated Administrative Specialist at MJV, bringing warmth, organization, and reliability to the team. With a sharp eye for detail, she manages tax preparation, bookkeeping, and payroll management. Known for her caring and supportive nature, Becky is like a mom to the ladies at MJV—always ready with a helping hand, a kind word, and a steady presence.

Kristan Winand, Jewelry Appraiser, GIA Graduate Gemologist & Certified Member, National Association of Jewelry Appraisers

Kristan is an experienced jewelry appraiser with more than 20 years of experience in the jewelry industry. Over the past four years, you may have seen her qualitative reports paired with our higher-end jewelry. Kristan is now offering jewelry appraisals here at MJV. When she's not behind the microscope, she is making jewelry in her studio, working in her native plant gardens of her mid-1800s school house, or out enjoying the outdoors with her husband, 13 year old daughter, and dog Ruby.

Allison Lynn, GIA Graduate Diamonds & AJP, Operations Manager

Allison is thrilled to continue her nearly 20 year career with Maejean as our new Operations Manager! She’s passionate about storytelling, jewelry, and the thrill of the hunt! She can usually be found digging through secondhand goods, creating upcycled art, snuggling her two cats, or adventuring with her husband.

Melissa Sue, Product Photographer

Melissa is our product photographer and editor. As a true history lover, she enjoys learning the story behind the unique pieces she gets to photograph. When not working you can find her gardening, skateboarding with her kids, or doing research for the Lancaster Vice Project. 

Shélah Renee, Studio Assistant/ Fulfillment

Shélah serves as our dedicated studio assistant and order fulfillment specialist, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and that our customers receive their orders efficiently.Beyond her contributions to our daily workflow, Shélah is also a talented individual with a diverse range of skills. She is an accomplished photographer, a creative artist, and a certified meditation instructor and in her free time, she enjoys pursuing her passions for reading, painting, biking, and cooking.

Marty Lee, HR Manager

Marty has been involved with Maejean Vintage since its earliest days, helping Laura source and research vintage treasures as far back as 2010. After a 15-year career as a teacher and Academic Coordinator, he officially joined the team as HR Manager in July 2025. A lifelong lover of antiques, Marty grew up surrounded by vintage finds and brings a deep appreciation for history to his role. Outside of work, he enjoys reading, working on house projects, playing Dungeons & Dragons, and spending time in the garden. He and Laura share a spirited three-year-old son who keeps life fun and full.

Mary Elizabeth, Goldsmith

Mary is our head bench jeweler, bringing a wealth of expertise from her studies at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, Moore College of Art and Design, and the New Approach School for Jewelers. Outside of work, she enjoys volunteering at Raven Ridge Wildlife Center, spending time with her dog, and listening to music.
