Incredible antique circa 1880s Victorian era sterling silver flower / swallow bird locket necklace! The front of the historical statement locket is beautifully engraved with flower designs and a pretty bird motif. The reverse side of the locket is blank with a textured frame. The locket hangs from its original substantial book chain necklace. The necklace and locket look incredible worn together, but could also be worn separately. Gorgeous rare silver piece from the Victorian era!

MARKINGS / HISTORY - Inside of locket is marked for silver. Chain is marked "925".

CONDITION - Good antique condition. Sterling silver metal has been professionally cleaned. Age consistent wear and patina remain, particular to the back of the locket. Amazing antique bird and flowers locket!
