Entirely unique circa 1990s era estate 10k yellow gold triplet and opal ring! This beautiful ring features a pear shaped triplet assembled gemstone, that is securely prong set. There are two stacked round cabochon cut natural opal accents on each shoulder, and the band is tapered and free of design. A gorgeous piece of fine 1990s era jewelry, featuring a unique stone!

METAL / MATERIAL - 10k yellow gold, assembled stone/triplet (quartz cover, glass backing; gem appears to be ammonite but cannot be confirmed due to testing limitations), natural opals

A triplet gem is a composite stone made by cementing three separate layers together into a single manufactured gemstone.

MARKINGS / HISTORY - Inside of band is marked "10K" with a maker's mark for The Ultimate Trading Corporation, which was founded in 1985 in New Jersey as a sterling silver importing company, before expanding lines to include gold and natural gemstones, growing wholesale operations and retail divisions under leadership from Todd Knichel.

CONDITION - Good condition. Ring has been professionally polished & cleaned. Triplet and opals are secure in settings and in nice shape. Age appropriate patina and wear remains. Amazing triplet ring!
