Beautiful vintage Retro era 14k rosy yellow gold created color change sapphire ring, circa 1960s! This statement ring showcases a 5+ carat created sapphire stone, which has an elongated oval shape and has a purple to pink hue. The magical stone has a purple color in artificial lighting, and a lovely pink color in natural daylight. The ring has unique arched and spherical details embellishing the prong setting. A fantastic cocktail style ring, containing Russian markings!

METAL / MATERIAL - 14k rosy yellow gold, elongated oval shaped created color change sapphire (approx. 5.03 CT).

MARKINGS / HISTORY - Bottom, outside of ring band contains Russian gold hallmarks including a Cyrillic letter 'K' (ka), '2PЮ, a star and sickle mark next to a '583', and a second '583' stamp.

CONDITION - Good vintage condition. Ring has been professionally cleaned & lightly polished. Some age consistent patina and wear remains. Created color change sapphire is secure and in good age consistent condition. Details and designs have been nicely preserved.
