MARKINGS / HISTORY - Brooch clasp is marked "14k" with the marking for Krementz & Company, Inc. The business was founded in 1866 and was in operation until 1997. The firm was well known for their unique gold overlay process, which was advertised with a lifetime warranty.

CONDITION - Good antique condition. Yellow gold metal has been professionally polished & cleaned. Age appropriate patina & wear remains. Cultured pearls are secure and enamel is preserved. There is some visible jeweler's epoxy around pearls. Amazing antique brooch!
