Gorgeous antique 1910s Edwardian era 10k yellow gold purple glass stone and baroque pearl lavalier necklace! The pendant has a triangular shape with vertical linear and pierced elements. A simulated amethyst stone is securely bezel set in the center on the pendant, and a baroque pearl gemstone hangs delicately from the main pendant component. Stunning signed Ostby & Barton necklace, circa 1910s!

METAL / MATERIAL - 10k yellow gold pendant and chain, simulated amethyst (faceted purple glass), genuine baroque pearl.
MARKINGS / HISTORY - Chain clasp is marked "ADL 10K". Bail of pendant is marked "OB 10K" Ostby (Co-owner of company) was a first class passenger on the Titanic & was among one of the 1,500 passengers who perished during the tragic iceberg collision. The company was established 1879 in Providence, Rhode Island. At its time, it was considered one of the leading producers of fine jewelry. The company ceased production in the 1950s. Ostby & Barton jewelry is highly desired by collectors of fine antique jewelry for its beautiful workmanship & historical significance.
CONDITION - Good antique condition. Gold metal has been professionally polished and cleaned. Purple stone is secure. Amazing antique lavalier!
